A rare ‘Special Edition’ Chanel Chocolate Bar Quilted Jumbo 2.55 Bag from Karl Lagerfeld’s Transition Collection in early 2000. The silk fabric features a multicoloured tropic-floral design with the brand name. Double silver chain link shoulder straps are intertwined with pink leather to match the flap and back pocket trim, and the front flap closes smoothly with a silver mademoiselle turn lock. The chicest rendition of all the turn locks in our opinion.
There are three exterior pockets with flap closures to the back exterior panel. The front flap opens to a partitioned black fabric interior (silk grosgrain and cotton) with zipper and patch pockets.
The bag is in very good used condition. A few minuscule marks to the exterior silk - only visible on very close inspection. Visible rubbing and very minor wear to one corner where the blue fabric is a touch faded. Minor tarnishing and verdigris visible to the interior metal rivets through which the chain link straps pass. Happy to clean this prior to mailing, though will add a day’s lead time prior to dispatch. Interior is clean and unmarked. No odour.
