The suede is in very good condition, has retained a vibrant scarlet red hue, and is still very soft. There is some wear and very faint discolouration below the horsebit where the bag has been grasped over time, but this is not noticeable. The gold toned hardware has some small areas that show evidence of minor wear and rubbing, but are otherwise untarnished and in perfect working order. The leather straps have no cracks or stains, but have a slight feel of age and use. The interior has one minor mark where unfortunately some suede invigorator ran into the bag, leaving a faint reddish drip mark. Apart from that it is spotless and clean. No odour.
